Alejandro has overall responsibility for all Latin American clients, as well as advancing OTRS's leading-edge methodologies and practices in the development lab located in the Software Park of Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco.

Alejandro has served in a number of professional roles from technical and functional to management and leadership roles. These include Managing Director of DUX Diligens (a leading Business and IT Management Consulting company in Latin America and Spain), Managing Director of Telecommunications Management Networks (a recognized IT & Telecom Integrator company in Latin America) and Marketing Manager of Managed Services in Avantel (a large Service Provider in Mexico). During his appointments, he developed many businesses across Latin America, establishing offices in different countries such as Argentina, Panamá and Brazil.

Alejandro earned his Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Nebrija University (Madrid, Spain), an M.B.A. from ITAM University (Mexico City), an M.Sc. in Data Telecommunications and Networks from the University of Salford (Manchester, U.K.), and a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from ITESO University (Guadalajara, Mexico).
