Whether you're an OTRS expert or you're just getting started with implementing open-source solutions based on OTRS, there are lots of ways to get involved with the OTRS community and therefore use some helpful tools.

Vote for Feature

Get involved and post your feature requests. OTRS IdeaScale is full of ideas on how to improve OTRS and its derivatives. Vote for other features and see them bubbling up. Once ideas are mature, they move to the release planning process of OTRS. Anyone can suggest new ideas and you as well as the community votes on which ideas are the most important.

Report a Bug

Bug reporting is an essential asset in enhancing OTRS including its derivatives. Assign bugs to releases and modules, ensuring a precise, completely and reproducible description of what went wrong. These reports help to get bugs fixed and subsequently make OTRS even better.

Localization

Learn more about how to contribute a translation of the current version of OTRS Help Desk, OTRS ITSM or any OTRS Extension. Completed translations can be contributed to the i18n Mailinglist for review and further processing.

OTRS User Forum

Get free community support via the OTRS web forums. Post your questions or search the OTRS User Forums and get in touch with other partners and community members. There are also local language forums available which are partly moderated by OTRS Group.
