OTRS ITSM 3.0 at Nagios World Conference Europe in Bolzano/Italy


Bad Homburg, May 17, 2011 – Nagios partner Würth Phoenix hosts the official European edition dedicated to the well-know Open Source monitoring solution. More than 400 participants from 15 countries made the Nagios World Conference Europe to a tremendous success. Main topics were the presentation of the current Nagios strategy as well as the exchange with respect to enhancements of aligned open-source systems, e.g. NetEye and OTRS ITSM.


A secure and cost-efficient operation became crucial in the latest economic turbulences. The Nagios World Conference Europe established by OTRS Partner Würth Phoenix and Nagios founder Ethan Galstad therefore became a veritable draw. “It’s not all about Nagios, but about several applications that guarantee a seemless operation within a company’s technical infrastructure and it was important for us, to have the chance to inform ourself about current enhancements to remain up-to-date”, said one participant from Estonia.


Next to Ethan Galstad and Europe’s eldest and innovative business school of Bologna, OTRS Group presented OTRS ITSM 3.0 – the brand new generation of ITIL V3-compatible open-source IT Service Management (ITSM) solution. OTRS senior consultant Jens Bothe convinced the international audience of the powerful features of OTRS ITSM 3.0 and its capability to efficiently support IT service providers in their data centers.
